We are individuals advocates for human rights and good governance, democracy, freedom of political parties / freedom of expression, rights groups of minorities ie: LGBTQIAPK (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, queer, intersex, asexual, pansexual  / polyamorous, kink), academics and individuals who support the rights of all Tanzanians regardless of their gender, ethnicity or political affiliation. 

We are writing to explain the insults, humiliation, false accusations, defamation, homophobic attacks that we (Tanzanians) get every day from the individual who’s the beneficiary of FORD FOUNDATION grants ( Didier Abdallah Mlawa) who uses a twitter account @ kigogo2014 and @FichuaTanzania.

Mr. Mlawa who is a beneficiary of the FORD FOUNDATION grants has involved in activism that go against the values ​​that FORD FOUNDATION and human rights defenders around the world.

We are writing this petition with great sadness, Mr. Mlawa (@ kigogo2014) has been at the forefront of hurting citizens who do not support his views or positions.

Mr Mlawa has been inciting hatred against Tanzanians minority to be precisely LGBTQIAPK (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, queer, intersex, asexual, pansexual / polyamorous, kink). He has been openly advocating for homophobia. 

Mr. Mlawa has been using his twitter accounts to insult opposition leaders, to spread false accusations against the Chairman of the main opposition party in Tanzania “CHADEMA” Mr. Freeman Aikael Mbowe by making it clear that Mr. Mbowe is a terrorist and CHADEMA is a terrorist party and  to call it 'Interahamwe' (The Interahamwe is a Hutu paramilitary organization active in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda).

Mr Mlawa out of blue became the ruling party’s (Chama Cha Mapinduzi) mouthpiece and chief Propagandist. He’s sided with the perpetrators of oppression against the opposition, opposition leaders, Human Rights Defenders and citizens who are critics of the government.

On records Mr. Mlawa has made it clear that CHADEMA chairman Mr. Freeman Aikael Mbowe is a terrorist and that the Police Force seized Mr. Mbowe's "Black Diary" diary which has enough evidence to show Mr. Mbowe is a terrorist.  We are sorry to say that these allegations of Mr Mlawa (@kigogo2014) against Mr Mbowe are baseless and the evidence has not been submitted to the Court where the Terrorism case against Freeman Mbowe and others is ongoing.
