My wife and I bought a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium in Nov. 2102. The vehicle now has 18,550 miles. The vehicle has had numerous recalls, we have had a rattling noise in the back since we bought it, it will not keep an alignment, the transmission shifts slips and then jerks into gear, and the gas mileage they advertise is a complete fraud!! Took the vehicle to Ford several times to get these issues resolved and every time we are told the vehicle checks out to Ford's specifications. They never find anything wrong. This last time they had our vehicle 36 days for the transmission. We picked the vehicle up and the alignment was still off, and two days later my wife was pulling out from a restaurant and the transmission slipped and stopped pulling. Traffic had to come to a stop, until the transmission finally jerked into gear again. 36 DAYS FOR REPAIR AND TWO DAYS LATER MESSED UP AGAIN!!! While all this was happening I made contact with Ford Regional to inquire about buy back. He stated he would start the paperwork for the buy back, but 3 weeks later and numerous calls, he had still not submitted the paperwork, and I have not heard from him since. I finally called the Governors Office Of Consumer Affairs and the vehicle qualifies for the Lemon Law in my State. I was guided by them and I was able to submit buy back paperwork to Ford. They have 20 days to buy the vehicle back or arbitration will start. I sure hope Ford does the right thing, we did not spend $38,000 of our hard earned money to have a vehicle sit because it is unsafe to drive!!!!! Extremely disappointed with Ford about this one!!!!!!

Bought a 2013 ford escape. We have had it less than two months when the car started not wanting to work correctly. It acted like it wasnt getting gas then it would run fine and then it acted like it wasn't getting gas. We have a special needs child and breed a reliable car to make the 150 mile round trip to the children's hospital on a regular basis. Now err have to use transit which takes longer and isn't easy. Worth no fix for the problem the right thing to do is but back this pile that is not safe.

Ford has always been a first choice in vehicles for me. I think with the safety and reliability in question Ford should do the right thing to keep it's customers loyal to the brand.

Just received a call from the Ford Service department. My 2013 Escape is not driveable and they are telling me the part that they need will be backordered for a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks. I'm stuck paying for a vehicle that I cannot drive.
