As my visit to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on June 7th, 2021 I was absolutely appalled to see the waiting times. With ONE doctor on staff (per usual) & short staff nurses who are burnt out and tired of constantly being short staffed! As some nurses are doing more than their requirements, going two jobs at once. This is NOT a COVID-19 issue, this has been an on-going issue for as long as I can remember! With ONE DOCTOR ON STAFF ( in emergency) FOR 100,000 + residents of Cambridge Ontario, Canada! After my self a women with her I’ll young child 5 years of age, had left the “pre waiting area” to go home sick! What is the point of “Free health care” when it isn’t even just! Paid 9$ to park a car for no service! Took me 2 hours to get a hospital bracelet! This is a GOVERNMENT ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE DELT WITH YEARS AGO! “No funding” but we can fund flower beds, street cleaners, unnecessary construction, social media workings for the government etc.. FOLWER BEDS OVER PROPER TIMELY HEALTH CARE? Make it make sense! With a 5-7 hour WAIT to even see a doctor! Is ridiculous!! HELP ME HELP US AND MAKE A CHANGE TO THE RESIDENTS OF OUR COMMUNITY! This is absurd please sign this petition in hopes to make a change, help our front line workers during this pandemic that seems to be never ending !
