Recent increases in the energy pricecap are already crippling families accross the uk and these are set to rise again in october by 70-80% then again in january with costs expected to hit over £4500 per year for the average household. The Energy companies are raking in record profits on the back of ordinary hard working peoples suffering. 

When did heating our homes become a luxury?

Something needs to give. Something needs to be done now! Asking people to land themselves in debt should not be an option because energy companies will not take a cut in profits when companies such as british gas have recorded a 5 fold increase in profits since the price cap increase in april.
