A pair of magpies on the lower North Shore of Sydney are set to be culled following a spat of attacks and dozens of complaints, this is nesting season and is normal behaviour for them to protect their nest, and be territorial, this is not new and we all know that this happens in spring. There are ways to protect ourselves from the attacks, in no way is OK to cull these precious birds for their normal behavior after all we have invaded their habitat, they deserve respect this petition is for the council to reconsider the decision and cancel the orders for the birds to be destroyed!!  

Residents in the area should be more careful if they know that these events are taking place, I call for fairness and compassion they are amazing birds and they are not normally agressive only during spring when they are protecting their babies and partner.
