Vivekananda Yubabharati Krirangan for QUESS EAST BENGAL and MOHUN BAGAN

0 have signed. Let’s get to 5,000!

For certain unknown reasons legacy clubs Quess East Bengal and Mohun Bagan has not been given permission to play their I-league home matches at the Vivekananda Yubabharati Krirangan, Salt Lake. Whereas last season both this clubs played at this venue and at a lower cost that was prefixed by the Government of West Bengal. Suddenly both this clubs have been tagged as corporates and the rent per match has been made as high as 15 lakhs INR. As per AFC guidelines each and every club has to form a company to participate in premiere football leagues. The same company existed previous season for both this clubs too. And they were not being tagged as corporate, then how come this step motherly attitude is being shown towards the oldest clubs of the state which has fans across each and every district. We know the Chief Minister of West Bengal Smt. Mamata Banerjee is an ardent sports lover and has done a lot of good for sports in the state. Due to this decision the fans of both the clubs will be the biggest sufferer as any other stadium will not let huge crowd to witness their favourite team's matches.

Hereby we would like to request our Chief Minister to please reconsider the decision and let the hearts of Bengal football i.e. East Bengal and Mohun Bagan to play at the VYBK.
