Following the recent events of a game between Wolves and Arsenal. It has been made clear that there is a biased decision-maker amongst the officiating of our beloved sport.

During the game, an Arsenal player received an extremely controversial dismissal based on the principle that he made a challenge on a Wolves player during a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Despite this event being televised for the whole world to see, the officiating body proceeded to make the wrong decision without any intervention from VAR.

Although there are many factors to consider, a lot of fans feel that we should be starting with one of the most “clear and obvious” errors on the football pitch, Craig Pawson. Considering that the English Premier League is supposedly meant to be one of the most competitive and entertaining sporting events in the world, it does not help when there is a referee who appears to be match-fixing.

There have been plenty of occasions where Craig Pawson has made costly decisions for clubs and given the modern day relationship that social media has with sports, it would not take long to find them all. It is time that the Football Association took action and prevented him from officiating any future events.
