Food deserts are usually low-income areas with a limited number of nutritious food sources. these areas have a high rate of hunger and poverty. Everyday, 41 American struggle with hunger and about one child dies of hunger every ten seconds. With about 23.5 million people living his food deserts, many of them do not lead a healthy and nutritious diet. This is not a choice for them.

Having access to nutritious food should not be a privilege, but a right.

This bill would provide grants to states for grocery stories in food deserts, but it first needs to be passed by the House and the Senate. Then, it needs to be signed by the President.

Help make a change and give everyone the chance to have a proper and nutritious meal on their table, too.
