For many years food culture has only blossomed in what appears to be one area. This area being the south/the southern states of America. It is my belief that Southerners are more generous and polite to their fellow man because of our comforting culinary works of art. Sweet iced tea is the beverage that undoubtedly makes the south what it is today.  I truly believe that if everyone had a minimum of one glass of sweet tea a day, southern hospitality wouldn't remain limited to the south. We could see complete changes in social behavior across the nation. And for those with dietary concerns about the added sugar, the simple solution to that would be artificial sweeteners or healthy ones such as stevia or honey.  A slight tweak of the American diet could improve the mood of the overall American populace. Would a few more grams of sugar in your diet be as bad as being bitter all of the time ?(Both in your attitude and in your unsweetened leaf water some call tea). So I encourage all like minded individuals to sign and make the world a better place,one glass of sweetened tea at a time.
