We are asking for the FDA issue a Healthcare Provider Letter to INFORM ALL MEDICAL PROVIDERS of the recent FDA updates regarding breast implant safety including:
- Black Box Warning on ALL breast implants
- Risks of autoimmune diseases and symptoms
- Risks of cancer (BIA-ALCL breast implant associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma)
- Risks of systemic health complications associated with breast implants
- Risks of SCC Squamous Cell Carcinoma
It is crucial for all medical providers to be aware of the health complications that can be caused by breast implants. It will allow clinicians to navigate and support patients with breast implants. Recent events have uncovered that there were over 446,000 adverse events that were reported to the FDA, but they were not made available to the public. Many patients suffer for years because their practitioners are unaware of this important information. Please sign the petition to ask the FDA to convey this information to the medical community.
