My daughter was murdered on March 25, 2022 and my job offered me three days bereavement. She was murdered in front of our seven year old, her fiancee, my 20 year old and his girlfriend and three days was not enough to arrange her services, cremate her, get my kids into therapy much less get back to work. Grieving parents deserve more than new parents get to bond with their kids. I knew my girl for over 28 years and I'm supposed to grieve her for three. Justice for Kayla, forever 28.
