With the start of the 2019-2020 year, individuals begin to report back to school eager to learn. However, the eagerness has been replaced with a looming cloud of despair. For the 8th graders have complicated and disassembled all working order, We come forward as a whole to express our dissatisfaction with the 8th graders. Below is a bulleted list of grievances:

•Halls are cramped between classes, and the front entrance is bottlenecked due to EVERY student, 9th to 12th, trying to enter the school.

•The 8th graders are a hazard. Yes, a hazard. During the first week of school, there have been 41 Juuls confiscated, a gun threat, and Xanax being put into lockers.

•TRAFFIC. TRAFFIC. TRAFFIC. Did I mention that the traffic is absolutely terrible. This puts students and parents in danger. It is most comparable to 5 o’clock ATL traffic.

•The Freshmen Academy is no more. The staple that was the Academy is now the “Eighth Grade Academy”. Crick and Ellenburg built an empire that was destroyed by the recklessness that is the displacement of the Middle schoolers.

•This is a High school, not a daycare, summer camp, or MIDDLE SCHOOL. This is the equivalent of a 3rd grade class forming the Third Grade Academy and jamming all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders into the remaining classrooms and hallways.

The school year has barely begun, and the 8th graders have already proven their inability to cooperate at the high school. There are churches, gymnasiums, and auditoriums all over Rome and Lindale. This crisis could have been diverted.

                                         Wholeheartedly,

                                    Pepperell Students.
