For too long, Mrs. Rodriguez has constantly put too much pressure and work on students. Both freshman and seniors agree that the amount of work and stress Mrs. Rodriguez puts on them is too much for just a high school class. We need a NEW high school British literature teacher. A new teacher that provides students with an engaging and safe environment. When in high school, students should not have to undergo unnecessary enormous amounts of stress. Schools should try to create an environment where students look forward to learning, and recognize it as a privilege. When there are teachers who strive only to stress a student or strive only to put tremendous amounts of work on students, it creates a destructive environment and takes away the true aspects of education. Teachers like Mrs. Rodriguez not only hurt the students but hurt the schools image. Flowery Branch High School teaches students about respect and responsibility, but Ms. Rodriguez preaches one sided respect and pushes students mental health and threatens bad grades and calls it “responsibility.” There is nothing positive about Mrs. Rodriguez’s teaching, it has only produced bad mental health in students and a destructive work environment
