A fair and less outdated dress-code for Flour Bluff High School students
At Flour Bluff High School the dress code is biased and sexist. We, the students, are trying reform our current dress-code so it is tailored to the modern world in which we live. We want everyone to feel safe and be comfortable in our learning environment. The dress code mostly targets female students and the trendy clothes that female students favor. It is important that we change this now, so the students now, and in the future, can have a comfortable learning environment without the anxiety of having negative attention drawn to the wardrobes of female students. The change will mean that students won’t have to worry about making up lessons and administrators can concentrate on running the school, all while encouraging greater, positive body images among students in general and female students in particular.
