The Petition of The youth of Florida to stop the adoption of the Parental Rights in Education bill (HB 1557/SB 1834). As well as to spread information about FL youths voice.

The Petitioners therefore request that the state of Florida allow students to voice their opinions on their education. This bill is trying to prohibit students from discussing identity and topics considering LGBTQ+ issues, while allowing parents to censor their children from topics that they do not necessarily agree with.

 Please help us in spreading information about this bill and giving Florida’s youth a voice by signing this petition to show that we do not agree with this bill.

With this petition, we are asking that our representatives in the senate consider everyone’s voice, especially the ones that this bill will affect the most.
