#DontTentMyPet - state law that requires tenting companies to tell neighbors 24hrs prior

Firstly, I am appalled this does not exist; secondly, this is something only state government can enforce. Termite tenting companies need to be required to inform immediate neighbors 24 hours prior to the tenting of a property. My beloved indoor/outdoor pet is one of many innocent victims murdered in a company's negligence to not only be responsible in their use of deadly chemicals, but also take responsibility for said negligence. After shady actions on part of the company I can not identify, thanks to being ignored by the real estate agency and the new owners, it's clear this is something that has to be legally required. It is very simple and easily executable; notify immediate neighbors you're tenting a house 24 hours in advance. Not only would I have been able to secure my pet the night before, I would've also been able to identify and contact the company responsible for any and all inquiry related to their tenting. The situation I am in could've been avoided and should be avoided in the future. If there isn't this kind of regulation, it should exist; and if there is, it's clearly not being properly enforced. Either way, do something.
