When Police Officers do not accurately follow Policy and Procedures a criminal will continue to be on the loose or worse. As a result of this you are in jeopardy of being the next victim. This can and sometimes will result in serious injury or death to you or your loved ones. On the other hand you can also be wrongfully convicted of a crime and be forced to pay the consequence when you are in fact innocent.

Because of this I am asking that Fort Pierce Police Department and Florida Highway Patrol re-open a case that was never investigated. If I win this will be a step in rebuilding trust in the police. With this change officers will be doing what is expected of them in emergency situations and not just doing what they want. Producers and Policies are in place so we the people feel safe knowing that the investigation will be handled with respect and accuracy. This is very important because if you are in an life or death situations you should feel safe that the Police has everyone’s best interest at hand.  If I lose Police Officers will continue to get away with not following Policy and Procedures (doing what they want). Blaming who they want in an emergency and continue to dimmish the faith in our local police.

Do not  be a victim of injustice at the hands of those who are supposed to protect and serve us. It happened to me and I would have never expected in a million years to be a victim of this type of Negligence. The Police Officers that were called to Aid me expressed on body camera how much they hated this area of the job. This attitude tainted a serious situation. These officers failed to notify appropriate personal even though they were aware of how severe the situation was. Inaccurate information was written on documents and accusations were made with no valid reasoning. This has caused continuous hardship for me and as a person who is extremely passionate about the community, I would hate to see others go through the same abuse.
