This is very important to me because I have a brother, who is the ONLY son of my Mother. And he has been incarcerated in Florida Correctional Institution for almost thirty years. He was given a life sentence because he has been labeled a habitual offender. And I believe that this is cruel and unfair justice for the sentencing that given too a young man at the young age of 20 or 21 years of age. While it is true that he made some wrong choices, but he shouldn't have to pay for it for the rest of his natural life. My brother didn't cause any physical harm, nor took a life in the event of the crimes that he committed. And I just want  desperately! To see my brother free from this horrible day to day reality. He deserves another chance... There needs to an amendment and a reforming of this particular law.
