Flitwick Town Council want flats to be built in Station Road Park. This green space is well loved and used by Flitwick residents - children, dog walkers, joggers, and people that just want to enjoy nature. They want to build flats for elderly people to move into Flitwick and a car park. There is already a huge amount of building for the elderly around Flitwick, but no green space left if this park goes. 

If the flats are built, this will make it even harder for anybody to get a doctors appointment (considering the local surgery is already at capacity), this will cause more traffic and air pollution on the roads around the centre. Public services are already over stretched. These new flats will make everything worse!

We call upon Flitwick Town Council to protect our park for residents and future generations, instead of selling it off. We also call on Central Bedfordshire Council to reject all planning applications that would see our park taken away.
