In the current world that we live in each app, media or platform that we use gives us the rights to chose what we share, and how we share it, and also allows us to revoke the application to use any of our data, and exercise our right to be forgotten.

One of our major E-comm websites, (Flipkart.com/) doesn't allow the users that right. After having spoken to multiple customer service associates, trying to convince them to DELETE my account instead of deactivating it, they remain persistent on the fact that their policy doesn't allow it.

Even having tried to raise a formal complaint to them and asking them to introduce this has lead to no fruitful gains again, searching online only lead me to find many other frustrated users who deal with the same problem.
