Stephen Rule started this petition to Flintshire County Council

The Honorary Freedom of Boroughs Act 1885 was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that gave the councils of the municipal boroughs of England and Wales the power to award the title of honorary freeman to "persons of distinction and any persons who have rendered eminent services to the borough".

Cambria Band have been marching for Flintshire (and the rest of Wales) for 14 years, proudly displaying the Flintshire flag at the front of their parades each and every time.
It is our belief that Cambria Band should be afforded the freedom of the historic county of Flintshire in commendation of their tireless work in addition to their strong connection to the area.
