UMass Amherst does not have enough housing for its students. Countless students this semester are unable to secure on campus housing despite seeking it and it needs to change.

UMass must outline, in a comprehensive and unified timeline, how and when they will have an amount of housing more suitable for their student body, whether it be by building more housing and/or slowing the rapid acceleration of acceptance rates over the past years. UMass students cannot be a casualty of the University's attempts at expanding its financial assets. 

We are a community, not a business, and we need to be run accordingly.
