NEW UPDATE: This petition started out as our way of asking Maxis/EA to provide us with a functional game pack. But it has grown into so much more than that. With this petition, we hope to send a message that any future packs that are released need to be thoroughly playtested before release. As consumers, we are not beta testers. We pay for a product, and we expect to be provided what we pay for.  

UPDATE: One hour after this petition was started, The Sims made this laundry list showing items in the game they are hoping to fix. However. It does not say WHEN these fixes will be implemented (and it hints at possibly being weeks out) making me feel that this Laundry List was a possible response to the petition. I ask that you continue to consider signing it, that way we can (hopefully) get this pack fixed!

The Sims 4 "My Wedding Stories" was released on February 23rd, 2022, and had many gameplay issues upon release. These issues were known beforehand, as many people in the Creator Network had played the game and showed many of these issues. The pack was still released, with very few (if any) of the issues resolved. Now, one week later, EA has remained quiet about the issues, while still promoting the new pack, game issues and all. 

We feel that, as supporters of The Sims franchise, we deserve more respect than this. We ask that EA make a statement acknowledging the issues in the game pack, as well as fixing these issues. Furthermore, we ask that no future packs are ever released in this state of development.
