In a state where the weather reaches more than 100 degrees daily, It is important for students to choose the clothing that is most comfortable to them while on an outdoor/indoor campuses. The recent reinforcement of the "Dress Code" on campuses has singled out a majority of young female students on campus. We believe that exposed navels (bellybuttons), and bra straps are neither inappropriate, unprofessional or distractions. They do not "cause harm to others" nor interfere with "instructional time." In the eyes of the new generation, this idea is simply outdated.

Phoenix Union High School District consists of 23 schools, if your school is enforcing a dress code specifically on girls or you have been targeted and are against it , contact your schools administrators and respectfully voice your opinions.
