Fix the Killing Eve finale

Fix the Killing Eve finale

Killing Eve, a show loved by so many people, and which meant a lot to members of the LGBTQ community concluded its series on Sunday April 10, 2022. To say the ending is bad is an understatement!! Leaving questions unanswered and an unsatisfying ending in its wake. The writer's really shot themselves in the foot with that ending. They did a disservice to the fans, the characters, and the show entirely. The episode as a whole wasn't bad, but the last 2-3 minutes really ruined the ending and upset a lot of people. The episode should've been longer and answered any remaining questions that were left unanswered and should've had a better, more fitting ending for our two mains. I'm all for tragically poetic love stories, but only when it's done right, and this was not done right!! If they were going to kill off one of the main characters, they should've killed of both of the mains and had them die in each other's arms or have even let them both survive and live happily together. We got a glimpse of what they could've had and the characters themselves did too, before it was ripped away from them. The relationship between the two main characters is and has always been at the heart of this show. As us fans have come to realize, the writer's didn't even know or understand the characters they were writing for, so it's no surprise they couldn't give us a satisfying ending. One we were all hoping for. Doesn't even need to be a happy ending, just a good one. The cast was and is absolutely incredible despite everything. The fans, the cast, and the show all deserve so much better. It needs an ending that feels satisfying. It needs a writer or writer's who truly understand what this show means to the fans, the show, and everyone involved with it. To give it an ending that is satisfying. One that does it justice!!
