6th Street in Evanston Wyoming is one of the busiest streets in our town. There are multiple automobile accidents at the intersection of 6th Street and Main Street. The STOP sign is not visible on the 6th street side. Living a few doors down I hear and witness accidents frequently. I have almost been hit multiple times as well.

No one runs the stop sign on purpose. It is usually people from out of state or out of town that doesn't know it's there and by the time it becomes visible it is too late.

We propose that the City of Evanston do one or all of the following. 

1. Make the stop sign a red flashing stop sign
2. Paint STOP on the road
3. Add a flashing light at the end of 6th warning of a stop ahead
