Fix "Reinvent" SamTrans

Fix "Reinvent" SamTrans
Why this petition matters

Many people in the southern portion of San Mateo County were unfairly saddled with major service cuts to their bus system on august 7th which were based upon Covid levels of ridership, not pre-pandemic levels.
As a result, Seniors, Disabled, High School Students, Community College Students, and Communities have had their lifeline bus services removed after over 20 years.
Samtrans took 3 years of "public input" and went ahead with the plan, regardless of what anyone said, which in my mind should have been illegal. They left many locations without any alternative to get around.
Seniors in Redwood Shores, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, the Highlands, Crystal Springs, and Rollingswood that are in an area no longer served by a bus route were told to walk to a new stop that could be up to an hour away.
One alternative option for people in these areas once served by SamTrans is to take lyft at their expense(?) I looked into this option, and it would cost $10 per rider at a minimum (removed portion of route 250). Another option is to have another government agency fund transit options at taxpayer expense (like College of San Mateo or City of San Mateo), but this is completely unfair to the taxpayers of california.
The only solution to the problem is to reverse the decision about route 250, and go back to the previous map. As for everyone else, provide a community shuttle like you do in brisbane. That's the best fix to your mess!
