As many don’t know Fishermen’s Village goes in front of City council on January 18th.  Mostly the older folks go to this meeting because they aren’t the working class, they aren’t the family people with kids, they aren’t the people that are going to be here in 10 years and we will be. We are all working and raising families while they are negative about every little change and don’t like change. But as a younger person we all know growth is important. Growth makes opportunities for all the future generations and creates jobs for the people that are moving here. I’m asking every person who cares about the Future to stand up and vote YES for the expansion and growth of Fishermen’s Village! This expansion includes affordable housing that will be created, more jobs and better opportunities for our small town! Small town feel comes from our small town hospitality and will not be effected by building size or expansion! Please reach out to city council so us the people that will be here in 10 years have a voice!!  We love our grandparents but we wouldn’t let them pick out our clothes so why should we let them decide on our futures without our input!! Let your voice be heard. Let the town grow and opportunities flourish.

People will always be against change but if you think back on Fisherman’s Village it has changed for the better already within the last 10 years. Better restaurants, better stores, looks better, and the atmosphere is better!
