Firwood Timber have recently taken up residency in what was the Roy Wood bar supplies building on Wray Street, Ince. 
The company have erected a large storage unit and two huge storage structures in the yard as well as flood lights that are on until 10pm each evening and have added CCTV. 
This petition is to ask Firwood to reconsider their decision not to line the yard with trees. 
Trees around the yard will ensure residents properties aren’t overlooked by the drivers that visit the yard daily as well as blocking the artificial light which currently enters residents properties from the flood lights. 
We do not know how far the CCTV reaches but trees would also provide protection from this and ensure no issues could arise. 
Noise from vehicles and machinery that visit the depot daily would also be reduced by lining the yard with trees.
