A N started this petition to Newham CCG and

Emergency appointments have been removed and replaced by 'online triage'.
Online triage does not allow you to select any health issues apart from self referrals, travel health clinic or receiving results and sick notes.
When you call in you are either told they do not have an emergency booking system or they are fully booked. No consistency in their processes.
Their general appointment waiting time is 4 weeks.
They have a patient access system to book appointments which does not work.
Their are no updates with changes in services or patients are not kept informed in any way. They only find out when they are trying to use the service.
When calling in, they tell you to contact OOH yet they are still taking new patients, when clearly oversubscribed.
The staff have no value for patients and our needs.

Change the online triage system.
Allow patients to call in to make emergency appointments.
Prioritise elderly and children with ongoing needs and cannot use an online service.
Stop referring all of your patients to OOH service or Emergency 101 and A&E. The GP should be our first point of contact, not the other supporting services. Our GP, our needs, our rights!

And whilst I am told today by the GP themselves that they are 'trialling' this new system, the residents in Newham are clearly suffering for it. What's more is that we are not informed and led to believe that the system has changed indefinitely!

The residents in this area are fed up of this surgeries service, lack of communication and not listening to our needs. We are now fighting for a voice for our elderly and children who cannot otherwise put their views across.
If it wasn't broken, why are you trying to fix it?
