QUITE SIMPLY, OUR HEALTHY STUDENTS ARE BEING DENIED IN-PERSON LEARNING. Florida Rule NO: 64DER21-15 instructs that healthy children who are symptom free are not to be denied in-person learning (meaning no more mandatory shut down and quarantine of an entire class due to a positive test result in the class) It also states that these decisions are up to the PARENTS to decide. Including, whether or not your child wears a mask or gets tested. These decisions are ours to make and the Florida Department of Health, the Florida Department of Education and our Florida Governor support that! Why is our school ignoring these laws and our rights as parents? Good question! Why are we paying tuition for a private school education when our students are not receiving it! Why are our voices not being heard? Why are we subject to the will of a hand full of people who get to decide on a whim that they will not respect our rights as parents? Why is our school board made up of only TWO people?? Neither of which is an adequate representation of the parent's who's children attend this school?

Join me in demanding...The First Untied Methodist School of Homestead respect and honor our rights as parents as written in Fla Rule NO: 64DER21-15 and The Parent's Bill of Rights and  STOP THE MANDATORY QUARANTINING OF OUR HEALTHY CHILDREN.
