Food security is the basic access to sufficient and nutritious food. However, many people around the world do not have this fundamental human right. Lack of food security for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is an issue that needs to become relevant for the Australian State Government and our own community. It is estimated that 80,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people live in remote areas and have a severe lack of fresh food everyday. Imagine living without having the food you need in your house.
By signing this petition, your will call the Australia State Government to action as a letter will be sent including this petition.
