It seems obvious that for NATO to expand now will infuriate the already angry, frustrated, paranoid, heartless, and likely deranged dictator of Russia. Who will suffer for this? It seems obvious that it is Ukrainians who will pay with their lives for this rashness, many, many Ukrainians. This would also make it far harder for Ukraine to be able to forge any sort of cease fire. You must delay this process. This will only increase instability in the world and make a larger conflict much more likely, involving not only NATO but many other countries. The specter of nuclear warfare is not to be ignored.
