The installation of the new water treatment facility on Fruitland Ave. (between Shaffer Rd. & Winton Way) required part of Fruitland Ave. to be torn up. The anticipated completion date for this project was April 2021…it is now May 2022 and Fruitland Ave. remains unfinished!

Fruitland doesn’t have sidewalks for children to safely walk to school, the city’s idea of fixing potholes is to shovel cold asphalt into the holes, and it is one of the poorest maintained roads in town even though it is heavily traveled. We must hold our city officials accountable for finishing projects they begin BEFORE starting new ones (new paint on the water tower for example). Finish Fruitland now and restore access and safety in our neighborhood!
