The people of Rush do not want any election posters in Rush Village
The people of Rush do not want any election posters in Rush Village
The residents of Rush implore all political candidates to respect our wishes and keep the following areas in our town political poster-free zones.
From the Old Road junction on the Whitestown Road through Upper and Lower Main Street to Rush Harbour. From the Skerries Road Corner to the first Golden Ridge entrance. Streets surrounding the Millbank Green, and in front of St. Maurs Church.
This petition is driven from both a sustainably and asthetics perspective. In an era where so many people consume their news content through electronic devices, the necessity for plastic posters secured with plastic cable ties hanging off every second pole seem less relevant. In town centres, they take from the vista of a town.
Please listen to and support Rush Residents and keep our town centre political poster-free.
