#FindOurGirls: A Petition to the FBI
0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
Below is a letter addressed to the FBI. Signing this petition is the equivalent of signing the letter below and sending it to the FBI Headquarters.
To the Director of the FBI,
We are sending you this letter because we are concerned about the alarmingly immense amount of minority women and children that have seemingly been abducted from their communities, their homes, and their families. We are sending this letter to the FBI because the public does not believe the FBI has done enough around missing minority women and children, particularly in D.C., where the FBI is headquartered with 2 offices nearby. We have three demands of the FBI and FBI Director concerning the missing minority women and children.
First, we demand to know what RESOURCES has the FBI dedicated to finding these missing people? Are ALL MEANS currently being exhausted to find these missing women and children and if so, what methods are these that are being utilized right now?
Next, we demand to know how are these efforts and results being COMMUNICATED to the public? The public is being left in the dark and left to believe the FBI is doing NOTHING. There have been no public service announcements nor has there been any solicitation of massive public support by the FBI and we demand to see this happen.
Last, we demand that the FBI incorporate the COMMUNITY into their plans to find the missing minority women and children. These communities have the desire to help but need the proper PLATFORM in order to do so. If the FBI truly wishes to find as many missing girls as possible, then assistance should be supported and facilitated clearly.
This letter was drafted by the Society of Young Revolutionaries Inc. and signed by individuals who believe that more can and must be done, specifically by the FBI, to fight this crisis. We are extending ourselves as just one organization of MANY community organizers/organizations willing to work with the FBI towards a goal of bringing our missing women and children home.
