To all my fellow world citizens around the globe, the time has come for us to stand up in solidarity with the people of Lebanon. For years Lebanon and the Lebanese people have been used by other forces and countries. For years the ones in power have lied and cheated and they still are! The government in Lebanon have failed to provide its people with basic needs and services. The people have to deal with daily power cuts, lack of drinking water, limited public healthcare and some of the world's worst internet connections. Prices for necessities have risen and many people in Lebanon can today not afford them. 

The explosion in Beirut on the 4th of August 2020 is proof that the government have been neglecting the Lebanese people and the only thing that matters to them is to fill their own pockets with money they have stolen. For them to thrive while others are dying of hunger.

We do not accept an investigation held by the Lebanese government, the government that many people do not want anymore. The government that is not willing to give up their positions for the sake of the people.

We demand an investigation held by the International Independent Investigation Commission of the UN.
