In light of the current pandemic a large number of students fees that the disadvantage of online learning should be reflected in our tuition fees and support. Students have missed out on many opportunities that are usually reflected within their fees - The majority of courses have seen a disadvantage. A movement to reflect these disadvantages with more financial support for students is not to put fault on the universities efforts during online learning - It is widely understood and respected that restrictions are in place for good reason, however this is not justifiable for restricted learning to be placed at the same financial standard as a learning in a normal circumstances. Students have suggested several compromises for the reduction of fees, including incentives, to allow a further access of online learning. This might include book vouchers for essential reading that can no longer be accessed or student's can't afford to outright buy. This, as opposed to a refund of fees, allows students to see a benefit and an improvement for students. Students have a huge variation of home lives - some may not even be able to regularly access online learning, and steps need to be taken to allow all students the same opportunities.
