Financial Institute or Scammers in Suits? (NCU)
On April 11, 2022 students of Northern Caribbean University were once again informed of increased fees and changes in guidelines towards payments (which was not in the favor of the students). "Once again" meaning fees were raised a few months back during the heights of the pandemic when most people were crying out due to lack of finances and loss of jobs. Imagine not using an institution's facilities and having general fees raised while being at home and paying WiFi and light bills (very ridiculous). Must we suffer this much in an effort to attain an education? An education that does is not a guarantee you will be placed in the job of your dreams immediately upon graduating and with a high possibility that like many others we will find it really difficult to land a good job. Based on observations made I can strongly say that NCU students unlike many others do not have a variety of scholarships to choose from. Most scholarship that are seen are specific to students of other universities, universities with cheaper tuition fees. I think the fees should remain as is!!!! Do you?
