TRANSACTION FEES AND DECREASING RATE OF INTEREST ON BANK DEPOSITS

While one will not dispute the need for bank charges, we have now a paradoxical situation in India. The Government and the Banks do need savings with banking system to increase for the growth of economy and have put in place incentives/schemes to promote savings. However, post-demonetization, the depositors are being fleeced to pay service charges(plus service tax on the charges) for withdrawing their own hard-earned savings kept in bank accounts.
We need to start a campaign to ensure that the poor depositors are not fleeced further. As a first step, we may observe a "NO TRANSACTION DAY" on a specified date, 6th April 2017, and continue this campaign till we get a reasonable solution.
Let us keep spreading this message.
It is ''difficult'' but not ''impossible''; otherwise banks will go on adding various new charges now and then.
This protest is for our benefit to control banks from adding new charges.
Let's Come Together and Show the POWER OF UNITY.
