Final Exams: Call for Leniency

Final Exams: Call for Leniency
In this online set-up, students have been experiencing new academic challenges. This includes, but not limited to, slow internet connection, technical issues, unexpected/sudden power outage, among others. For the Final Departmental Exams, we are given only around 1-2 hours to take a relatively long exam. This would be feasible if there would be no interruptions such as the issues aforementioned. The students strongly believe that there should be more leniency in the delivery of these examinations, as these would significantly impact our grades and academic standing. We want the exams to be in a one-page format, and if that's not possible, then a longer time allotment (e.g. 3 hours time allotment for an exam that could be taken in 2 hours with fast internet) to take the exam would be a good alternative, as well.
