Last January 9, 2019, Global Gateway Development Corp. (GGDC) signed a memorandum of agreement with Century Properties Group, Inc.(CPG) for the establishment of a joint venture firm. The company will be in charge of developing 2.6 hectares of land inside the 177-hectare Clark Global City in Mabalacat, Pampanga. The Indigenous groups residing here are greatly affected. With the construction of the new Clark Global City, the Indigenous groups are forced to leave their homes to give way for the said construction.

In line with this, the group petitions to provide proper relocation for the Indigenous groups that are affected by the construction of the Clark Global City.

Purpose

The purpose of this petition is to find a proper relocating site for the Indigenous groups residing at Clark Pampanga, Philippines. The Indigenous groups must be provided with a proper place where they can stay. These indigenous groups are also Filipinos and they should not be deprived of their rights. This is to ensure their safety and comfortability.

Description

Our campaign petitions to build houses for the indigenous groups who were forced to leave their homes for the construction of the Clark Global City. The Aeta families may be relocated in Bamban, Tarlac which is the closest area with vast lands and other Aetas are seen living here. The houses built for them must at least accomodate a family of 4-5 members and must have facilities (bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen) to meet their needs.
