Mark Rheden Gamayon started this petition to Filipino People

The Philippines is both a hotspot and a mega-diversity area, making it a priority for conservation. The country's forests are habitat for more than 6000 plant species and numerous bird and animal species, including the Philippine Eagle and the Visayan warty pig. But according to our research, over the course of the 20th century the forest cover of the Philippines dropped down from 70 percent down to 20 percent. In total, 46 species are endangered and 4 were already eradicated completely. Only 3.2 percent of total rainforest has been left. Our group, the Mirage Infinix Alliance, aims to create several online sources that will help promote the awareness of people involved about this problem and create an online petition with the goal of returning back the beauty of our forests.

Our group aims to create Change.org petition, a Facebook group and a blog to help achieve our goals. We will be gathering information connected to the dangers of deforestation especially for those who is not aware about what's happening to our forests. The scope of our project is to able to reach the school's administration, parents, teachers and students to sign our petition especially for the netizens.

We will be requiring a couple of weeks to develop this project and we will start our promotion right after we have uploaded the website. We will also be using our own resources so the funding for this project will be close to none. Our expenses may only include the printing of campaign materials and the Internet. We will also be using free services already offered by Facebook and Change. org.

Should you have any questions about our project, feel free to contact us at mirageinfinixalliance@gmail.com or to09152827634/09051897370.
