Fight against local government stealing black farmland

Fight against local government stealing black farmland
Why this petition matters
My Uncle has been petitioning the courts to return property that has never been sold by his Granddad Henry Glenn. As the original owner he passed on the land to his son Willie T Glenn who then passed it in testate to his 13 children who now legally own the land. Records show that the property was never sold by any of the original owners, but was sold by people who allegedly paid taxes and claimed the land.
This is important for a cause bigger than ourselves because we want to create a subdivision/town where us as black people can grow together and support one another. A place where black businesses can strive and families can be safe. We all have the power to make a big impact here.
If we get enough names on our petition, the courts will review the records which will then prove the land was never sold, but it was in fact stolen. Therefore by the state of law, the property must be returned to the original owners which would be my Uncle Eliga and his 12 other siblings. For years my family has been fighting the system for this right. Some have given up and some have moved on, but I’ve poured hope back into this family and this vision of black excellence striving. All I need is your help. By signing this petition and sharing it with your family, friends, and peers you will make a great impact on society and black commonwealth; one signature at a time.
