Do not build houses on top park and horse field in Falkland

We object to Fife Council’s proposal (LDP-FAL003) to build 30-50 houses on the site between Back Dykes Terrace and the wooded area of East Lomond, known locally as the 'top park' and 'horse field'. We believe this would be detrimental to the surrounding environment, effecting the beauty and uniqueness of the village and having a grave impact on local residents and tourism. Of paramount concern would be the increase in traffic congestion through the already narrow streets of this historic village. Also we object to the use of a green-field site when a brown-field site immediately adjacent, St. John’s Works, is already ear-marked for a housing development of 100 houses.
