In the United States there are massive protests against police violence towards Black Americans. With North America set to host the 2026 World Cup, we call on FIFA to withdraw its approval of the USA hosting its portion of the tournament unless the United States takes steps to fix this injustice, including: 

• End the militarization of police departments
• End shield laws that allow violent officers to hide their disciplinary records
• Cut funding to police departments and use the money for services that help black communities rebuild
