Fans of Malaysia started this petition to FIFA and

There is a dire need for action by FIFA against the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) after a violent and unruly display of unsportsmanlike behaviour and continued violence shown by Indonesian football fans against travelling fans especially Malaysia.

After the last showing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification match between Indonesia and Malaysia held at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on the 5th September 2019, where the travelling Malaysian supporters were abused and threatened from the very minute they arrived at the stadium until the end. Rocks were pelted, bottles of urine were thrown, threats made by Indonesian fans towards the Malaysian fans, fans and players were cornered from leaving the premises and many other atrocious acts were done which are well documented on various videos posted on various social media platforms. What makes this worst that Indonesian football fans are JUSTIFYING THEIR ACTIONS by pushing the blame towards Malaysia and has shown NO REMORSE against what has happened.

This is not the first time incidents like this has happened, as many other incidents have been documents over the last year, as below:

AFF U19 Championship Semi Final (13 July 2018)
Malaysian players were pelted with rocks and bottles after the game when trying to exit the stadium

2018 AFF U-16 Youth Championship Semi Final (9 August 2018)
Indonesian fans disrespecting the Malaysian National Anthem and hurling abuse to Malaysian players and fans

These are repeated incidents that have spanned in the last couple of years as well and until today, the Indonesian fans have gone unchecked.

FIFA and AFC must take a strong stand against curbing violence and abuse demonstrated repeatedly by the Indonesian fans and must reinstate the sanction against Indonesian football until there is a sincere action taken by their governing body as well as their fans in improving this situation.
