Be consistent in applying FIFA rules to everyone - including Israel

For many years, the Israeli football association has given membership status to six teams that play in illegal settlements built on Palestinian land in the West Bank. This is in direct violation of FIFA’s rules, which state that permission is needed to play matches on another member’s territory.

Israel has also denied access to Palestinian tems to play in games, leagues and international tournaments. It has deliberately with-held kits and equipment, while its army has illegally shot  4 promising Palestinian footballers in the feet and legs - causing them permanent injury & preventing them from ever playing football again. ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED WITHOUT CENSURE OR SANCTION FROM FIFA

Instead of enforcing these rules, FIFA has repeatedly delayed action - all directly due to political & behind the scenes pressure from Israeli lobbyists. FIFA needs to abide by its own publicly declared ethos & stand against discrimination, racism, bigotry and incitement-hatred.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino says that a decision on Israeli settlement clubs is coming in October 2017. WE NEED YOU TO HAVE MORAL AND PHYSICAL COURAGE AND NOT TO CAVE INTO BULLYING, BRIBING AND HYPOCRITICAL DEMANDS. We need you to show strong and fair leadership and also to show that all FIFA members deserve fair and equal treatment, as well as make a strong statement to those who would abuse both human rights and FIFAs code of conduct & rules - that this will not be tolerated. Delaying and postponing, or staying silent on this issue merely sides with the oppressor and gives the message that Palestinian people, as well as any other victims of FIFA or international law transgressions are not as important as those who commit the abuses.

PLEASE BE FAIR AND CONSISTENT, HAVE MORAL COURAGE AND STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT. Thank you.
