The latest award and player rankings have caused dispute all over the football world and as fans we feel that the Ballon D'or is becoming more of a marketing award than an actual appreciation of the world's best players.
Solution
The world's best player is to be chosen by fans who truly understand the sport and can make an unbiased decision on who has been the most consistent player throughout the season, who has not only luckily won a couple of trophies due to having good teammates but rather made an impact on the team's results like no other player during the season, and most importantly, allowed us to enjoy the beautiful game.
