The world wide call for FIFA to ban the membership of the last standing Apartheid State, Israel, is growing in light of FIFA's call to ban Russian teams. The banning of the Apartheid Israel State is long overdue in line with FIFAs calling cry of SAY NO TO RACISM. 

Considering FIFA’s recent decision to ban Russia, activists demand that FIFA act immediately against the Apartheid State of Israel as it did against Apartheid South Africa following the call by the Anti Apartheid Movement. Israel is not untouchable, but FIFA to date has failed to take any meaningful action against the Apartheid State of Israel, which is guilty of human rights violations and commits war crimes routinely. 
 
Israel has deliberately destroyed Palestinian football stadiums and detained Palestinian players. Israel has restricted freedom of movement, banning Palestinian athletes in the occupied West Bank from training with their counterparts in the Gaza Strip, and subjecting them to interrogations at checkpoints when traveling across the West Bank or abroad to take part in international competitions. 
 
Israeli forces have in the past targeted the feet of teenage Palestinian footballers with live ammunition. Meanwhile, Israel allows seven teams based in its illegal settlements to play in the Israel Football Association (IFA), its national league. FIFA, the governing body of world football, has failed to take action against the Israel Football Association for its inclusion of these teams based on illegally occupied land. 
 
By failing to act, FIFA is allowing the Aparyheid State Israel to use “the beautiful game” to whitewash its forced displacement of Palestinians and is in violation of its  own rules, which forbid member associations from playing in the territory of another member association without the latter’s permission. Just as FIFA, refused to recognise Northern Cyprus’ and Crimea’s football associations for similar reasons, it must now be consistent with its own guidelines regarding the IFA.
 
 
We the undersigned call on FIFA to take immediate action against the Aparthied State of Israel, because Palestinians, like Ukrainians, are also entitled to human rights and dignity.
